Together, PTUSA
and Crusaders United train, develop and form U10 teams in each
gender. Currently, we have 3 boys teams and 3 girls teams that
compete in the MAPLE (Massachusetts Premier League) league
this spring season. The commitiment at the U10 level is seasonal
and allows those players a taste of the Club commitment without
stretching families too thin. Starting in June of 2010, we will als
offer players the option to train all year round. Our curriculum
focuses on the individual needs of the player while the games allow
the players to demonstrate learned skills during match play.
PTUSA’s Goals for U10 Development:
- To develop
all players regardless of previous experience.
- To act as
a stepping stone for families entering into the next level of
soccer.
- To
create a strong base of players stepping into MAPLE at U11.
- To provide
the best training option for players and families.
U10
Team Information:
- All
players are required to attend at least one team practice per
week. Players are strongly encouraged to attend additional
Academy training.
- Home games
will be played at Forges Field in Plymouth (Exit 5)
- Game times
will be every Sunday at 10:15am or 11:30am.
- Each game
consists of 2 x 25 minute halfs
- The game
schedule during the spring season is 7 weeks long and the fall
season is 9 weeks long. Training is 9 weeks long for both
seasons.
- All U10
teams play within the MAPLE League. Games in the U10 Maple
Division are regionalized so the furthest you will travel for an
away game will be approximately one hour.
- U10 Teams
will play one tournament in the spring (Memorial Day Weekend)
and one tournament in the fall season.
Cost:
Single
Night Training: $175.00 (Mandatory, single night training)
Multiple Night Training: $225.00 (Strongly Encouraged, multiple
night training)
Nike
Uniform (2 shirts, Nike shorts and socks): $35.00
MAPLE
registration fee per season: $65.00
